Using our service
If you have any issues regarding accessibility, please contact us through the Triplinx Feedback Form
Animals
Service animals are permitted on all Durham Region Transit (DRT) buses. Other animals are not permitted, with the exception of dogs on a leash with muzzle, and dogs, cats or other small animals confined in a pet transportation crate.
Bicycles
All DRT buses are equipped with bike racks. They hold up to two bicycles and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If the bike rack is full, please wait for the next available bus. Please note that you are responsible for loading and unloading your bicycle.
Strollers and Other Large Articles
Strollers, shopping carts and large articles may be transported on DRT buses when there is adequate space and they do not interfere with other passengers. Upon request, operators will deploy the extendable ramp/lift and kneeling feature at front doors, allowing passengers to roll strollers on board. For the safety of all customers, strollers should be folded while travelling and no items should block the aisles. Please note that you are responsible for loading and unloading your own strollers and other large articles.
